A Tradition
of Excellence
From its founding in 1977, Automated
Logic Corporation (ALC) began with the goal of bringing logic
and order to the complexities of building automation while attaining
superior customer satisfaction. With constant focus on the goal,
the ALC family of products is designed for effective building
control by giving the user maximum power with the minimum of
effort.
ALC's initial market focus provided intuitive,
cost-effective solutions for individual facilities. Applications
for multiple building environments with more complex control
needs soon followed. Quick acceptance in the facility management
marketplace provided impressive proof that Automated Logic's
solutions for management of building functions could be made
both understandable and effective.
Successful expansion into the commercial market
continued with the introduction of System 20/20 in 1985, introduced
to provide full Direct Digital Control systems with a graphical
user interface.
In 1990, Automated Logic introduced EIKON Graphic
Programming, as well as full networking capabilities that were
made a reality with LANgate.
ALC Today
Today, its largest installed client base includes
commercial office buildings and parks, health care institutions,
government facilities, industrial plants, hospitality and entertainment
facilities, retail, and data centers, both in the USA and in
the international marketplace. As the possibilities for tying
together building subsystems into one package have multiplied,
ALC has continued to assume the forefront in developing timely
solutions for building integration.
The ALC Family of Solutions
Throughout the evolution of the DDC industry,
ALC software and hardware have maintained
a solid position on the leading edge of technology. All Automated
Logic products are designed and manufactured at ALC headquarters
in Georgia. Superior product standards are maintained through
the entire manufacturing process, beginning with extensive work
in research and development, rigorous
testing, and complete quality control checking before
shipment.
Continued Support
Product flexibility and strength is backed by
Automated Logic's commitment to total
customer satisfaction. Our ALC Dealer Network, Sales, Application
Engineers, Technical Support, and Training departments
form a team working together to make each installation a success.
The ALC Dealer Network is an international distribution
network of authorized Automated Logic representatives who live
and work in the market area they represent. Fully qualified
for sales, installation, and engineering of installations, ALC
Dealers provide the primary point of quality support for our
customers.
Automated Logic is committed to providing the
most current technical information around the clock with the
constant effort of the ALC Technical Support Engineers. Utilizing
tools such as test boards, help desk databases, print on demand
documentation, and an electronic bulletin board, ALC Tech Support
information is continuously available.
Excellence through education is emphasized in
the ALC Training programs. Both dealer and end user classes
are offered with hands-on training for all Automated Logic hardware
and software. In addition to the factory training classes, technical
seminars are held to ensure ALC Dealers are well versed in the
latest technology available.
Working together to achieve success, the Automated
Logic team ensures installation excellence with continued support
on both the corporate and local levels throughout all phases
of client projects.
Leading the future
As Automated Logic advances into the next generation
of controls, it continues its pledge to provide leadership in
the DDC Controls industry by delivering unquestioned superiority
in customer satisfaction, being first to accurately specify
solutions to our customers' needs, and the ALC tradition of
making complex controls powerfully simple.

says "We've got tomorrow under control."
SuperVision is a Windows based, graphic
operator interface. Supervision provides each Automated Logic
installation with individual floor plans of the facilities under
control. Each floorplan displays the the operating conditions
of the individual comfort zones with a dynamic, colour coded
graphic, providing building operators with instant updates on
comfort conditions throughout the facility.
EIKON Graphic Programming is an intuitive,
Windows based software program which provides users with the
ability to graphically program, display, and interact with any
HVAC sequence of operation.
CONNECT establishes seamless interconnections
with a growing list of third party electrical and mechanical
building systems. With CONNECT, subsystems may be controlled
and monitored through Supervision, and graphically programmed
with EIKON.
ALERT alarm management gives facility
managers the flexibility to define and prioritize alarm and
event conditions based on individual building criteria, ensuring
a prompt and accurate response to alarm conditions.
I/O HardWare, Automated Logic's hardware
line, allows a complete HVAC control system to be built one
piece at a time. General purpose DDC is achieved by joining
various expandable controllers within a standard control panel
as the size of the job increases. The hardware line features
high speed communication and I/O point flexibility.
LANgate provides network solutions for
multi-network applications with each of today's leading connectivity
technologies from either local or remote locations.
With a proven track record for being on the
leading edge of technology, Automated Logic building automation
systems generate significant energy savings, improved comfort,
and building management flexibility. Automated Logic hardware
and software is used in worldwide in nonresidential facilities
such as schools, office buildings, hospitals, and industrial
plants for effective building automation.
